5. Innovative Learning Concepts

Overview

Most workplace learning happens informally, yet how people actually learn in this way is often unclear and overlooked. To address this, the project uses expert interviews and literature research to develop a practical toolkit for companies. The goal is to help both employers and employees recognize, understand, and actively support informal learning at work. The toolkit focuses on three key levels: cognitive (what we know), reflective (how we think about what we know), and experiential (what we learn through doing). Currently, the toolkit is being designed based on insights from both theory and practice. Supporting informal learning is crucial because it empowers people to grow continuously and adapt in an ever-changing work environment—without needing formal training.
